It's truly miraculous what Villeneuve and company have accomplished here. If you're used to superhero movies or drama, or Star Wars, Dune feels pretty sparse in the dialogue department. But the novel is dense and notoriously difficult to adapt. The director found a way to tell a concise revenge story over the course of two films, and pretty much established himself as "The Dune Guy" going forward. We have five more books, people!

Fun fact: Christopher Nolan wanted Cooper and Murphs drive through the corn field to look and be as real as possible, so he bought some land, planted the corn, let it grow, filmed the scenes they needed with it, then harvested and sold the corn. He made a decent profit off of the corn alone lol.

I'm so glad you loved this movie as much as I did! I felt the same way about the beautiful message "every good thing started with a dream." This movie made me adore Timmy as an actor. If you are interested in other Timothee Chalamet films, I ended up watching a lot after Wonka and can give you a brief summary: 1.) If you want young Timothee Chalamet at 20 years old, he had a role in Beautiful Boy. It's about a father and son but it deals with the son's addiction to meth so it is a heart wrenching movie especially if you are a father. My Dad was choked up a bit. 2.)Little Women 2019 version is a great adaptation of the widely loved book. I love the actors. Florence Pugh is in this as well as Timothee. 3.) The King on Netflix is an adaptation of Shakespeare's historical plays. Timothee acts more like Paul in The King. He gives another compelling speech. Whereas in little women he is more sweet like Wonka. Beautiful Boy is really cool because it's a different side to Timmy's acting. He showcases his ability to be vulnerable and struggling with addiction and breaking down.

I always dug the Swordsman in Marvel comics and was excited to meet this variant of Jacques Duquesne.

Just to help because I think this might not be fully understood, is the location of the characters in comparison to the basement. If you look up "wall map aot" it will pop up, but the outer district Shiganshina is where the basement is. The gate to that district and the gate to Wall Maria (the outermost wall) were both broken down, meaning that all of Shiganshina and the land between Wall Maria and Wall Rose (the middle wall) have been overrun by titans. Then five years later the gate to the Trost district was broken down pushing everyone behind Wall Rose. They first took over Trost when Eren put the bolder back and now with that last expedition, they were in the land between Wall Rose and Wall Maria. So in order to get to the basement they have to get all the way back to Shiganshina and as you can see there are a lot of titans. I hope this helped!! :)
